Hattrick hero Ahmed Rizvan(Rizey) keeps Eagles Premier League hope alive by beating Foakaidhoo 5-0 in this evening's Premier League match.

Eagles took the lead in the 13th minute when a cross found Rizey unmarked in the area. The Maldives International marksman headed the ball past Foakaidhoo goalkeeper Mohamed Shifan. On the 20 minute mark Rizey doubled his tally for the game with another cool header when another cross found Rizey unmarked in the box.

Less than ten minutes into the second half, Eagles scored their third goal of the game when Mohamed Naim was free in the box. Again poor marking from Foakaidhoo. Rizey completed his hattick in the 66th minute of the game. Rizey currently is joint world record holder for most hatticks in consecutive games. Mohamed Naim scored the 5th goal for Eagles in the 88th minute.

The win keeps Eagles in the running for the Premier League title. Eagles are now in second place on 29 points, 7 behind league leaders TC. Maziya are a point behind Eagles but they play Victory Sports Club later tonight. With only three games remaining for TC and Eagles, Eagles still maintain a slim chance of winning the title.
