Legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel arrived in Male' today to take part in goalkeeper Imran Mohamed's (Imma) testimony match and the Maldives Football awards. 

Schmeichel one of the most decorated goalkeepers in history will play for the Football Association 11. The FA-11 will play against Imma-11. FA-11 will also have the former Real Madrid player Michel Salgado. Imma-11 will have players chosen by goalkeeper Imma including Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey). The match will be played on Sunday the 30th of December. The game will be played at Galolhu National Stadium at nine o'clock.

All the gate money from the testimonial match will go to charity. This match is played as a testimonial match for Imma who retired from International football a couple of years ago. Maldives most successful goalkeeper however vowed that he will feature in the Dhivehi Premier League in the upcoming season. Maldives legendary goalkeeper Imma will face the world Legend Peter Schmeichel in his farewell match.

Peter Schmeichel best known as Manchester United captain in the late 90's. Schmeichel who won the treble with Manchester United is one of the most successful goalkeepers in English Premier League era. Schmeichel also won the Euro 92 with Denmark.
