Pakistani Asian Games National vice captain Saqib Hanif agrees to move to Foakaidhoo FC according to sources close to the player.

Saqib is all set for loan move from Shinwari FC. Saqib who played much of last season with FFC moved back to his parent club Shinwari with three games remaining for Foakaidhoo FC. With Pakistan back in hot water with FIFA, Foakaidhoo has requested the Pakistani club to release Saqib for another season.

The Pakistani shot stopper also played for Maalhos FC in Minivan Championship final round. Saqib first came to Maldives in 2016 when he played for BG Sports Club in the Dhivehi Premier League.

Foakaidhoo manager Ahmed Asif said that they did not want to comment on it and that it is too soon. Saqib however comfirmed to BoalhaMV that he will indeed be playing for FFC this upcoming campaign.

"FFC is like family to me, I am very happy to be with them" said Saqib via the Facebook messenger.
