D-License Course starts with Milandhoo with 14 participants including 4 women coaches.

The course is being conducted by Milandhoo Council in association with the FAM. The course is conducted by Instructors Mohamed Nizam(Nizambe) and Ismail Mahfooz(Imma). 

This is the third D-License course held by the Football Association since it's introduction. The next D-License course will also be held in Shaviyani Atoll. Funadhoo is scheduled to host the next D-License course later this month.

D-License is an introduction to Football Coaching. FAM has given a special interest in raising the standard of coach education in the country. Starting next year, D-License will be a pre-requisite for the C-Certificate course. Interested organisations can apply through their local Council by writing to the Football Association's Coach Education Department.
