After winning tonight's semi final, Eagles have advanced to the final of the youth championship.

Eagles came on the back of a 100% record which they are stubborn to not give up meanwhile Da Grande came into the game after finishing second in their group. The game started intensely from both sides with Hussain Aleef Ibrahim being cautioned in the second minute. The game was headed to half time with no goals despite both sides playing great football overall. That was until the 47th minute strike from Mohamed Azumoon which may have had a big effect on the half time talk of both sides.

Eagles started the second half strongly and their pressure led Ahnaf Rasheed of Da Grande to be cautioned due to a foul in the area, which won Eagles a penalty. The penalty was scored by Hassan Raif Ahmed. The game was getting more intense as final whistle was approaching. Hussain Aleef Ibrahim of Eagles saw his second yellow in the 69th minute which saw him off the field, which meant he would miss the final. Raif scored his second of the game in the dying moments of the game to make sure there was nothing Da Grande could do in the less than often given amount of extra time. Da Grande was stubborn to not end the game without scoring a goal and that led to the goal of Saim Mohamed in the 97th minute.

Ending the game with 10 men and a two goal lead Eagles are in the final for the 3rd year running. With the championship being won before Green Streets won it last year, they aim to repeat that feat in this year's final.

TC, who defeated the last year champions Green Streets in the semi, will be their opponent. The final will be held on Monday night (18.02.2019)
