Maldivian coaches Ahmed Nashid(Naadhu), Muaviyath Ilham, Ibrahim Shafiu(Saakko) and Fareed Mohamed(Farittey) are in Japan to attend a training course

Four coaches are nominated by their respective academies. The Football Association sent invitations to the Academies that fulfill the conditions. The grassroots training program training is organized by the Japanese Football Association. 

Maldives Soccer-Mates nominated Naadhu, BG Sports Academy nominated Ilham Muaviyath, Maziya nominated Saakko while TC Sports sent Farittey. All coaches are required to AFC B-License. Naadhu and Muaviyath Ilham hold the A-License while Saakko and Farittey hold the B-License.

Talking to BoalhaMv Muaviyath said that they are in good spirits and are excited to start learning. "Perfect And a very warm welcome from them(Japanese FA)" said Ilham via Facebook messenger.
