Farey Set For Nilandhoo Move
Farey(Faruhaadh Ismail)all set for Nilandhoo move.
Farey acted as an official in his home town club, Nilandhoo in last season's Premier League when his former Club United Victory failed to qualify.
Speaking to BoalhaMV, Farey confirmed the transfer. "If FAM allows Nilandhoo to play in the Premier League, I will be playing for Nilandhoo", Farey said. This years Premier League will have ten teams for the first time including the two Minivan Championship sides Nilandhoo and Foakaidhoo. Nilandhoo finished in admirable 6th place in last season's Premier League.
The experienced Maldives international moved to United Victory amid tensions with Green Streets coach then Mohamed Sobah. Farey helped form the team for Green Dragons after their promotion to the Premier League and captained the side.
Farey is one of the most experienced defenders in the league. The Strongman played for New Radiant, Victory, Maziya, BG Sports, VB Sports and Club Valencia besides United Victory and Green Streets. This will be Farey's 17th season in the top tier of Maldives football.
