In the ongoing biggest football fever of these days, the Mamen Inter School Football Tournament has taken the campaign into another exciting level as Iskandharu wins second game and keeps their dream alive In the tournament. 
 
A tragic late concede in the red's first game agaisnt Imaduddin took them off the track. But winning the second match against Ghiyasuddin International School by huge margin of 6-0 puts them back in the right track.
 
Ghiyasuddin came into the game with an opening game defeat by the hands of Rehendhi School. Iskandharu also faced their second match against the purple side after being lost to orange army by a late goal.
 
The runner up side of the age group, the reds had only one aim from the game, a win. A win which will put them into the right track of the tournamrnt. And they did it. They did it in style.
 
Ghiyasuddin started the game with changes in the line up. While there was no noticeable changes made in reds line up.
 
A 10th minute strike from the D area gave the lead to Iskandhar reds. Number 11 Mohamed Zayan was the one on the score sheet as found the opponent net with a decent strike. Iskandharu kept finding chances to score and they made few chances which was not used well until the 27 minute. Ibrahim Hussain doubled the lead for the reds side, this time from the penalty spot. Five minutes before the half time, Zayan stroke opponent goal with another beauty as it made the score line 3-0. Match took the half time break with Iskandharu leading by 3-0 over Ghiyasuddin.
 
During the second half, the two goals was scored by Musab Fazeel and Ahmed Shiyan at 39th and 57th minute respectively. With this defeat Ghiyasuddin bids farewell to this year's inter school football.
 
On the other hand, with this vital three points to Iskandharu, it makes the group D very competitive. Rehendhi currently tops the group eith 6 points and Imaduddin and Iskandharu 3 points. Unlike other groups, the quarter final slots for this group is yet wide open as the final group stage matches will decide which two teams will advance.
 
In the last matches of group stage, Imaduddin will face Ghiyasuddin and it is a do or die for the orange army side if they want to move ahead. While the current group toppers also may loose the ticket to the quarters, if Iskandharu wins against them and Imaduddin wins too.
