Mamen Inter School Football Tournament has witnessed another brilliant victory from Unstopable Hiriya. This time Thaajuddin is the victim.
In the quarter finals of under 15 age group, Hiriya School faced Thaajuddin School and won the match by 5-0, leaving nothing to the yellow submarine side.
 
The purple side came into the quarter to finals with a 100% winning record through out the group stage round. The side so fierce in scoring, defeated their group mates to advance into quarter stage as group leader.
 
On the other hand, Thaajuddin faced a bad defeat in the opening match. Then winning the last two group stage matches, the yellow submarine side also got into the quarter finals.
 
Regarding to both sides performance, Hiriya started it well. From the first whistle itself the purple side was playing like a hungry side for goals. And it did not take long. Just six minutes into the game, Hiriya opened their scoring account against Thaajuddin. Abdulla ibunu Shifau scored at to give an early lead to his side. It was expected that with the early lead Hiriya will be on the driving seat of the game. But it did not.
The rest of the first half game time was on average from both side while Thaajuddin managed to hold back Hiriya from striking against them. The game went into half time with Hiriya leading by just a single goal.
 
As expected Thaajuddin stepped into the second half action with the plan to settle the game on their favour. But it was the other way around. Second half was another brilliant play by the purple side. And Ismail Ekan was the star.
 
With 4 goals from Ekan Hiriya was seen as unstoppable during the second half. At the 48th minute Ekan scored his first, second in the 62nd. And until the final whistle of the game, Hiriya was not done. Ekan went onto complete his hatrick and his fourth in the extra time of the match, scoring 2 goals in 2 minutes. 
 
Hiriya will have to wait to see their opposing side, as they have to play against the winning side if the match between Rehendhi School and Aminiyya School.
