Anko Signs Three Year Deal With Foakaidhoo FC

Former Valencia star Ansar Ibrahim(Anko) signs a three year contract with Foakaidhoo FC.

Foakaidhoo has been tracking Ansar Ibrahim for a long time according to Foakaidhoo FC assistant manager Mohamed Rimaz. "since the end of last season we wanted to sign him, because he is young, very fast and he has amazing work rate" Rimaz said talking to Foakaidhoo FC. 

Foakaidhoo looked like they were losing their man when there were rumors of Anko signing for the Green Dragons. Anko Maldives most decorated Youth player, winning the Youth Championship three times with Club Eagles and once with Valencia. The 24 year old was a part of the Valencia team that got relegated from the Premier League in june 2018. Since then due to the format, the national player has not played a competitive game. 

Anko moved back to Club Valencia, where he won his first Youth Championship before moving to Club Eagles winning it three times more. Anko also has a President's Cup medal winning it with Club Eagles. Besides Valencia and Eagles, Anko also played for Thinadhoo in their Premier League appearance in 2017. The Maldives international has 5 appearances for Maldives. Anko also played an active part in Maldives under 19 and under 23 sides.
