Veteran coach, Heena Ahmed Saleem, fondly known as 'Heena Coach' says he will not move away from field work.

"I will work on the field just like it did, in ETFA(Early Touch Football Academy) and others" Heena Coach said speaking to BoalhaMV.

Heena Coach was appointed 'The Commissioner of Sports' by the President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. Commissioner of Sports is the highest authority of Sports in the Maldives from the government side. Well known sportsman, Heena Coach's work has been appreciated by former president Abdullah Yameen too, winning the Service to Sports award in 2018.

Heena Coach co-founded Early Touch Football Academy(ETFA) in 2004. ETFA has produced some of the finest youngsters in the country including Miraash Imthiyaz, Ismail Zaan Amir and Hassan Nazeem Gassim. ETFA Won the Introductory Under 13 League last season. To date ETFA remains the most successful Academy in Maldives.

Heena Coach started as a teenager playing for Maldives National team. The well known footballer who also represented Maldives in other sports was also a qualified football referee. Known as "everyone's coach", Heena Coach has helped a lot of players and coaches in the Maldives.
