The latest hot deal of the transfer market has been Ali Fasir (Sentey)'s switch to Eagles from currently suspended New Radiant.

Eagles coach Mohamed Shiyaz (Mohan) talked to Boalha.mv about the former New Radiant star player's return to Eagles.

"He is one of the best players in the country and has played amazing football. Hoping our team will be more strengthened by his signing. Of course the management would look into his past performances before signing and he is one of the greatest. And I hope the team is further strengthened.", said Mohan talking about their recent signing.

Eagles is the first ever club Sentey's played for in 2006, however his highlight performances were seen after his move away from the club to All Youth Linkage (AYL). Afterwards the blues caught interest of the player and brought him in. With ups and down through out with short spells for Valencia, Victory and TC along the way, the player became one of the most important players for both The blues and the country most notable of those being his performance in last year's SAFF SUZUKI CUP. The player scored the winning goal for the country in the final and also more importantly scored over a 100 goals for New Radiant.

New Radiant is currently under suspension of FAM due to several issues regarding unpaid player salaries. The supporters of the club and many star players born and bread into the club have started campaigns to revive the club back to it''s glory.

Eagles is the team with the youngest squad in the Dhivehi Premier League and finished 3rd last season. With many bright future prospects leading their line the team is expected to perform excellently in the league.
