Maldives International Mohamed Rasheed(Hockey) has been named as the captain of Da Grande for the upcoming Dhivehi Premier League.

Hockey moved to the Premier League new comers from New Radiant Sports Club, where Hockey also wore the armband. The attacking left back's deputies will be Ahmed Vijdhan(Viju) and Hassan Shuaib.

Da Grande qualified to the Premier League last season as the winners of the second division. This year they have strenghtened the squad with the likes of Maldives internationals Ahmed Imaz(Aakko) and Yashfadh Habeeb(Mulakey). Their biggest sighing is Maldives goalkeeper Mohamed Faisal, currently this regions most valuable player. An award he won after helping Maldives win the SAFF Suzuki Cup in 2018.
