Former National Player Abdulla Ibrahim(Crespo) completes move to Nilandhoo.

Crespo best known for his time in Maziya and AYL starred for Maldives under 23 team. Crespo's fortunes changed when he moved to Club Valencia from Maziya. After an injury plagued season, Crespo appeared for Kondey FC in the preliminary rounds of Minivan Championship in 2015. Crespo then moved to Maalhos Sports Club in 2017 for their Premier League campaign. After playing a key role for Maalhos, Crespo moved back to Valencia last season.

Nilandhoo finished in sixth place in Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League last season defying all odds. Nilandhoo and Foakaidhoo FC qualified for the Premier League this season, while Fehendhoo and Thimarafushi were relegated last season.
