Under 15 International Football Tournament authorised by Union of European Football Association (UEFA) and Football Association of Maldives (FAM) is to be held in Addu City, Hithadhoo Zone Stadium.

A technical team has gone to Addu City yesterday including the Technical Director of FAM, Ihusan Abdul Ghanee (saanthi). This visit was to interact with other associations regarding this international tournament.

The Under 15 International Football Tournament is to start from 20th July 2019.

This will be the first UEFA linked with FAM tournament in the Maldives. The Under 15 National Team competed in a tournament held in Thailand in association with UEFA.

According to FAM, four countries will be competing in the tournament including a European country.

The Under 15 Boys National Team has begun their practices 15th May onwards, under the supervision of FAM's Technical Director, Ihusan Abdul Ghanee (Saanthi).

The Head Coach guiding the Under 15 Boys National Team is Ibrahim Haleem(Jada) as the previous year. While Ibrahim Saeed(Kaka), Assistant Coach of Club Eagles will be the Assisting Jada.
