Maziya marksman Cornelius Stewart is back.

Last season's best Foreign player(Maldives Football Awards) is back with Maziya Sports and Recreation Club. The 29 year old striker scored 28 goals for Maziya last season. Cornelius joins a very strong Maziya forward line that that has Maldives stars already. Maziya has scored an impressive sixteen goals in two games including the 13-0 victory over Nilandhoo.

Maziya will play the other Minivan Championship side Foakaidhoo tonight. It is unlikely to see Cornelius start tonight's game, though it remains to be seen.

The St. Vincent and Granadine player signed for TC Sports in 2017 from Kemi City of Finland. Maziya signed Cornelius from TC Sports in 2018.
