Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) posted a photo of himself with the Football Association president Bassam Adheel Jaleel tonight.

Maldives Legend met with Bassam tonight to discuss the future of Maldives football. BoalhaMV will post details as we get them.

The meeting is great news to Maldives football as most Maldivians are baffled at Dhagandey's exclusion from the national squad. 

"Had a wonderful chat with President Bassam Adeel Jaleel. I’ve regain high hopes of a brighter future for football" posted Dhagandey after the meeting. Maldives national team will take on Guam on the 5th before taking on China at home turf. National coach Petar Segrt has given contradictory excuses in the legends omission from the squad.

The president of the Association has maintained that team selection is upto the head coach and Petar Segrt has confirmed this on many occasions.
