Maziya cemented their position as league leaders by beating dark horses Da Grande 3-0 in tonight's Premier League clash.

Ibrahim Mahudhee Hussain scored the game's first goal fifteen minutes into the second half. Da Grande organized themselves well at kep Maziya at bay till the hour mark. Ten minutes later Amdhan Ali(Andy) scored from Maziya corner blasting the a powerful header arriving unmarked in the far post. Substitute Hamza Mohamed(Hampu) scored the goal of the game when Cornelius Stewart's deep cross was headed back by Asadulla Abdulla(Asako) only for Hampu to score the Green Boy's third of the night.

The win give Maziya a seven point lead over nearest rivals Eagles and Da Grande though Maziya has played a game more. Tomorrow evening Minivan Championship sides Foakaidhoo and Nilandhoo will play at 16:00pm while Green Streets will play Victory.
