A C-Certificate course has been completed in Sh Funadhoo.

The course conducted for Shaviyani Atoll was competed by all twenty four coaches. Conducted by experienced coach Mohamed Adam, coaches from Funadhoo, Kanditheemu, Noomara, Goidhoo, Feydhoo, Foakaidhoo, Narudhoo, Maroshi, Maaunghoodhoo, milandhoo and hosts Funadhoo participated in this historic event. The aim of the course was produce coaches from all the islands in Shaviyani Atoll to raise the level of coaching and football in the atoll. Already a very strong atoll, Shaviyani Foakaidhoo is currently playing in the top tier of Maldives football, the Dhivehi Premier League. In 2017 Milandhoo also did well in the Dhivehi Premier League.

The C-Certificate is the second level of football coaching license system after the introductory D-License. The C-Certificate teaches individual tactics. Three practical exams are given, whereby the coaches are required to pass at least two. Two mandatory theory exams are also given to all participants.

Mohamed Adam is a graduate of the Football Association Coach Education Department's D-Certificate Instructor course. Along with Ahmed Azmi from newly formed Instructor wing of the FAM, the coach education department has been extremely active. With a B-License course scheduled to start later this month, Football Association has been giving utmost importance to coach education. The Football Association has conducted D-License course throughout the Maldives.
