B-License Course Starts With Two National Captains and Local AFC Instructors

B-Certificate starts with two national captains and local instructors. Former national captains Ismail Asif(Kuda Heena) and Assad Abdul ghani are among the high profile coaches participating in B-License coaching course which started yesterday. The three week course is also the first B-License course to be conducted by Maldivian instructors.

Mohamed Shazly(Shaz) will conduct his first B-License course along with Football Association of Maldives' Technical Director Ahmed Shareef(Dunga). The last B-License course was conducted by Singaporeans Robert Lim in 2017 and Mike Wong in 2015. B-License is the third level in football licensing system, after which comes the A-License and the Pro-Diploma which is the highest License course available. Maldives has 24 A-Licensed coaches and one Pro-Licensed coach. During the term of President Bassam Adheel Jalil, special care has been given to coach education.

Among the Thirty three students are former players Hussain Habeeb(Haby), Ahmed Niaz, Mohamed Zahidh(Battey), Hassan Rasheed Ali, Ibrahim Saleem(Meta).

Under 19 best coach Green Streets Ali Hassan, Eagles' Ibrahim Saeed(Kaka) are also among the participants.
