La Liga Side Celta Vigo Announces Collaboration With Maldives

La Liga side Celta Vigo has announced a collaboration with Maldives. 

Celta Vigo 'welcomed' Maldives to their family after signing ceremony today. 

"Today we put pen to paper on an important deal with Maldives. In Addition to promoting their tourism, RC Celta will collaborate in the development of football throughout the country" Cetla Vigo posted on their social media an hour ago.

Meanwhile the Football Association of Maldives congratulated Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Ali Waheed- Minister of Tourism and Ahmed Mahloof the Minister of Youth Sports and Community Empowerment. 

Along with Minister Ali Waheed, State Minister Ashadh Ali(Adubarey) and the President of the Football Association Bassam Adheel Jalil attended the ceremony earlier today.

Celta Vigo, currently lies 17th in La Liga standings. Celta Vigo was found in 1923 are nick named the Sky Blues. In 2016-17 season Celta Vigo reached the semi-finals of the Europa League losing to Manchester United.
