Experienced coach Ahmed Nimad(Nima) joins Dragon FC for the upcoming Maamigili Cup of 2019.

Dragon's 2017 winning coach Nima is back with the power house of Maamigili cup. Nima joins his players from Club Eagles Hisaam Saleem(koki) and former Eagles captain Imran Nasheed(boabulhi). Nima who currently works as the first assistant coach to Eagles has started to train the tournament favorites. Former New Radiant player Abdullah Midhuhath Fahmy will also rejoin his team mates. The former Maziya and Maldives international Hussain Niyaz(Bokury) will also join the club. 

Maldives international, currently in camp in Malaysia, Ahmed Rizvan will also join his Eagles mates, Imran Nasheed and Hisaam Saleem and coach Nima. The Maldives international striker is the joint world record holder for scoring hattricks in five consecutive matches. 

Maamigili council sponsored cup started in 2016. Since it's introduction Dragon FC has won the cup two out of three times. Last season Dragon FC signed the legendary former Maldives captain Ismail Asif(kuda Heena). Nima returns to Dragon FC after one year absence. The highly anticipated cup is scheduled to start on the 20th of November.
