President of the Football Association of Maldives, Bassam Adheel Jalil has praised President of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed today.

Bassam tweeted earlier today praising President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Minister Ali Waheed for signing the collaboration with the La Liga side Celta Vigo yesterday.

"Hats off to HEP(His Excellency President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih) & @ali20waheed (Ali Waheed) for this feat. In sha Allah this wouldn't only promote the brand Maldives but also help develop football" tweeted the FA President. 

Celta Vigo official Facebook page called this signing "an important deal with the Maldives". In addition to promoting Maldives in Spain, Celta Vigo is set to help develop football through out the country under the banner of 'towards future'.
