Guam is the weakest team in the our group, having already beaten Guam in Guam, there is no place for excuses.

As far as Maldives is concerned, I have never seen Segrt in a press conference talking with 100 percent confidence. Ranked 196th in FIFA-World Ranking Guam hasn't managed a single point so far. losing 0-1 to Maldives is their best result, that too at home.

Maldives on the other hand, ranked 154th are unfortunately struggling in the joint FIFA World Cup- AFC Cup qualifiers. Losing 0-5 to a very weakened China side already losing to Syria and drawing away to Philippines. Maldives looks as though we have no plan. Shocking halftime substitution of Maldives legend Dhagandey(Ali Ashfaq) to me is a turning point. 

Shockingly he came on against Syria at the beginning of the second half and almost changed the game. Maldives lost 1-2 to Syria. Dhagandey scored the consolation goal. We all expected him to start at home against Philippines. Philippines fielded a squad with players from much better leagues than ours. As China coach Marcello Lippi said Maldives needs a better league if they are to succeed, speaking of the abundance of talent available in the Maldives. Dhagandey was give very little time against Philippines and what an assist to a great finish by Dhaadhu(Hassan Naiz). We could have won. Both these games. I think those who watch the matches will agree with me. What would Argentina be without Messi or Portugal without Ronaldo.

Segrt won the SAFF Championship, yes. But I can't help but wonder if the rumors that the players revolted after the 'coin toss' is true. (Maldives managed to enter semi-finals after drawing lots). To me, there is no hope for Maldives with Segrt in charge. I can't trust this man. From day one all he did was lie to us. If only Maldivesoccer.com was still active, they would expose his lies, as they have in videos. All he ever do is buy time for himself. Always lying. Did he not say that Maldives is going to be in the World Cup?

That doesn't mean we can't win tomorrow. Remember! Guam is one of the weakest teams in this phase of FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Guam or China, I trust our own Dhivehi players. I believe in them. They deserve a better leader, even the FA needs the people on their side, that would not be possible with the lying Petar Segrt.
