Ismail Zaan Amir who plays in UD Canals in Spain has been called up for the National Team that is set to take part in the SAFF Games in December. Hassan Nazeem Gassim(Choatu) already capped twice for Maldives joins the Under-23 National Team after playing against Guam in the world Cup qualifying game.  The two starlets played together in Early Touch Football Academy and the Under 13 National team.

Besides Choatu, his Foakaidhoo FC team-mate Mohamed Jailam(Oggy), Maziya goalkeeper Hussain Shareef, Eagles starlet Haisham Hassan and Green Sreets starlet Abdulla Yameen(Yaanu) have been called up to the Under-23 National Team.

SAFF Games are scheduled to take place from first to tenth December. Maldives boss Petar Segrt will take charge of the Maldives Under-23 side. Three senior players are allowed to take part in the Under-23 side that is set to take part in the SAFF Championship. The three seniors have not been named so far.
