Massive Contingent of MSM Arrives In Malaysia For International Tournament

A massive contingent of Maldives Soccer Mates(MSM) have arrived in Malaysia to participate in the 15th RSC Dato Chu Ah Nge International Junior Soccer Tournament.

85 personnel strong MSM contingent are made up of their Under-8, Under-10, Under-14, and their Under-16 teams. Apart from the starlets and the MSM management and coaching team, parents of their Under-8 and Under-10 teams also traveled with the group.

Maldives legend Moosa Manik(Kuda Moosa) is the head coach of the Under-16 team. His son Muan Moosa Manik heads the Under-14 team. Former Maldives Under-19 coach Mohamed Shahid head the Under-10 team while former Maldives International defender Ashraf Luthfee(Sampath) leads the Under-8 team. 

Speaking to BoalhaMV Under-14 coach and Academy Administrator Muan Moosa Manik said that taking the Under-8 and Under-10 teams is a new experience.

"It is a new experience for them(the young players), a new chapter for them and for us. This is a part of MSM's long term plans" Muan added.

MSM entered in the above mentioned categories of the International Tournament. Teams from Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Maldives and the hosts Malaysia will take part in The Royal Selangor Club Dato Chu Ah Nge tournament.
