According to our sources Eagles are in contact with Maldives International Hassan Nazeem Gassim(Choatu).

Choatu is expected to sign for Eagles after his return from holiday. Speaking to BoalhaMV Choatu confirmed that he is indeed close to agreeing terms with Club Eagles. Foakaidhoo Football Club and Club Eagles have so far not responded to our inquiry.

Choatu debuted for Foakaidhoo last season. He is Maldives under-19 captain and has been capped 5 times for Maldives senior team. Choatu has been a revelation to Maldives football since his return from studies. The Maldives youngster has been called the 'next Dhagandey' by the under-19 national coach Mohamed Shazly. Former Maldives coach Petar Segrt has also called Choatu an important player for Maldives.
