BG Sports academy has ended a successful training camp to Vaavu Atoll where BG's under 12 and 10 side played friendly matches against teams from Felidhoo. 

The BG boys received a warm welcome upon arrival to Fulidhoo organized by the Vaavu Atoll Education Center. 

BG were once a top flight side but ever since their relegation have not been able to find their way back in to the top flight of Maldivian football and are suck in the second division as they are unable to find a way into the top flight. 

Despite the senior side struggling BG Sports Academy continues to enjoy a number of success and have many young talented players in their ranks. 

To date BG remains the only club from outside the first division to operate a youth Academy. No second or third division sides have their academies running. Despite the struggles BG continues to play their part in youth development were resources are limited despite lots of talented youngsters.
