World Cup qualifiers postponed by FIFA

Due to the outbreak and spreading of Covid-19 in Asia, world governing body FIFA has banned all qualifiers. The Covid-19 which was first found in China and spread thorough out parts of Asia and Europe has had massive impacts on world football. The Italian league is played behind closed doors. 

Chinese FA reached a agreement with the FA of Thailand for the game to be played in Thailand's Buri Ram province. The province is home to Thai league champions Buriram United. The Chang arena is home of Buriram United and seats 32,600 spectators. 

Chang Arena was set to host Maldives vs China since matches could not be held in China due to Covid-19. The away game in Thailand was to be followed by a home game for the Red Snappers in Male' a week later against group leaders Syria.  

Maldives vs China was scheduled for the 26th of March and Maldives vs Syria was Syria sit top of the group with 15 points while the Azkals and China are on level points with seven. Maldives are fourth in the standings while Guam sit rock bottom of the group.
