World's Top Scorers List: Ali Ashfaq Comes on the Second

Maldives 'Iron Man' Ali Ashfaq (Dhagandey) is ranked at second place among the top 15 active international goal scorers by the exact metric calculated by the English sports news website 'Givemesport'.

On this list, Ashfaq is behind United Arab Emirates forward  Ali Mubkhout.  The 30  year old Ali remained on the top of the list with a ratio of 0.76, which was calculated from 83 matches, in which he scored 63 goals. 

Ashfaq who previously was on the top of the list  this time managed to earn second place by scoring 53 goals from 80 matches. Behind Ashfaq is, India's best man Sunil Chhetri who won the 3rd place by scoring 72 goals in 115 matches. 

The world's famous Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo is ranked 4th on this list by winning 101 goals in 165 matches.  Along with his 100 goals, Ronaldo helped Portugal to win Euro 2016 and the inaugural UEFA Nations League tournament in 2019.  

Belgium's all time leading scorer Romelu Lukaku is also on the 4th place on the world's top scorers list by winning 52 goals in 85 matches. A 27 year old Lukaku is a finest striker in Belgium National football team who has been with the national team since 2010, when he joined at the age of 17.  Lukaku and Ronaldo remained on the 4th place with a ratio of 0.61. 

Behind these two players, other notable  players mentioned on the list are Brazil's star Neymar, Bosnia's one of the most underrated striker Edin Dzeko, Poland's superstar Robert Lewandowski, Uruguay's Luis Suarez.  

One of the world's best player, Argentine star Lionel Messi manages to come in at the 10th place by scoring 71 goals in 139 matches.
