Maldives football star Ali Ashfaq (Dhagandey) is Ranked in the 6th Place of World's Active Goal-scorer list made by an research foundation called Rec.Sports.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF).

RSSSF is an international organization dedicated to collecting football statistics and football-related information around the world. According to their rankings Ashfaq comes in the 6th place by scoring a 464 goals in total 544 matches.  

The ranking list was prepared among the actives players who played as of 17th October, who have scored more than 400 goals in total. 

Goals scored by actives players in official matches played with national teams at all levels and clubs in all divisions were counted to compile the rankings.

Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo was on the top of the Ranking list by scoring 742 goals in 1055 matches. Argentine star Lionel Messi comes on the  2nd by winning 706 goals in 930 matches. Sweden star Zaltan Ibrahimovic comes on the 3rd with 559 goals from 938 matches.

Poland star Robert Lewandowski comes on the 4th with 506 goals from 779 matches.

On the 5th it is Luis Suarez who scored 488 goals in 774 matches. 

Ashfaq who got 6th place in this rankings were ranked on the second of a different ranking list.

Maldives 'Iron Man'  Ashfaq (Dhagandey) was ranked at second place among the top 15 active international goal scorers by the exact metric calculated by the English sports news website 'Givemesport'.

On this list,Maldives evergreen goal scoring great, Ashfaq is behind United Arab Emirates forward  Ali Mubkhout.  However he managed to leave behind world famous players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
