Former Foakaidhoo FC Midfielder Hassan Sufiyan (Sufy) joins Club Valancia.

Sufy signed a three year contract with Club Valancia last week.

Speaking to Boalha.mv Sufy said he started participating in the Valancia squad practice from last Saturday.

Sufy was injured during last season while paracticing with Foakaidhoo FC in pre-season practice.

Sufy started playing for first division clubs at the age of 18. Starting from VB sports Club, he played for Club Eagles and later for Foakaidhoo FC.

Valancia is the second club which started practices for the upcoming season. Unfortunately Sufy had to miss of last season due to his injury.

Sufy has been a successful player from a very young age, where he had the opportunity to hold captain band of U13, U17, U-19 and U23 national football team.

Club Valancia kicked off their trainings last Saturday in Maafannu stadium with many experienced players, such as national team captain Akram Abdul Ghanee (Aku) and a youngster Ismail Zaan Amir, who played for Spanish 4th division club, UD Cannels for last couple of years.
