Moriero wants to replace senior players and give chance to youngsters in upcoming games

Maldives National Team coach Francesco Moriero has said that his current side's senior players need to be replaced with more youngsters and said that he aims to qualify for the AFC Asian Cup. The Maldives take on Bangladesh tomorrow night in Male'. The Maldives has already faced Bangladesh once under Moriero but were beaten 2-1 in Sri Lanka. That was Bangladesh's first win over Red Snappers in more than 18 years.

Moriero is winless since taking over as head coach but says he is hopeful results will turn his way. The coach says he will give chances to more youth players in upcoming fixtures and said that he wants to have some of his more senior players replaced. Furthermore, He said that the result against Bangladesh is crucial however his target is the AFC Asian Cup qualification due to taking part in Uzbekistan. Red Snappers are in the same group as hosts Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. 

The coach also urged fans to come in their numbers to show support for the National team. He said that he was in shock seeing the home games the Maldives had played due to the number of fans in the stadium. Maldives vs Bangladesh will kick-off tomorrow night at 9:00
