Thinadhoo were safe sailing towards all three points against Maziya but Hussain Niyaz (Bokuree) came up with other ideas in injury time.

Despite controlling the game Maziya played possession football without penetration and they were made to pay for it with Thinadhoo's killer counter attacking football. Maziya suffered heavily without their captain and talisman Asadulla Abdulla. Today's match showed how important Asadulla is for Maziya.

In the final third Maziya simply could not find the flare they have when Asadulla is on the field. Maziya failed to have a dangerous attempt on Thinadhoo goal in the first half.  Meanwhile Thinadhoo kept Mahmoudh Al yusef busy with their killer counter attacks often leaving the Maziya defense wide open. But even Thinadhoo could not finish the chances they got.

The second half was much better from both sides and it was thinadhoo who were on top when it came to attempts. Thinadhoo winger Rizvan (Rizey) was unstoppable. Haisham (Chumpu) and Avilia also performed extremely well for Thiandhoo while Nooman (helmet) was excellent in defense. for Maziya goalkeeper Yusef kept out a number of attempts.

Thinadhoo drew first blood through veteran midfielder Niyaz. Niyaz fired home from outside the area after a cross from Rizvan. Niyaz beautifully guided the ball into the bottom corner with a wonderful volley. Soon after Thinadhoo came close to doubling their advantage but they were denied by the woodwork. Avila went past two maziya before firing a thumping effort which went off the woodwork.

Deep into injury time Maziya equalized. Hussain niyaz fired home to make it all square much to the delight of Maziya who continue their unbeaten run. A win was not all good news for Maziya as they loose their hundred percent run in the league.

Despite one point Maziya are still on top of the league with  10 points from four games. Thinadhoo are 5th in the league standings with four points.
