In this evening's Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League, Maalhos beat Milandhoo comfortably with a hatrick from Spanish forward Angel, by a final score line of 5-1. This is the second match played by Maalhos in the second round and so far they have shown a rich form by winning both their matches. In match day one of the second round Maalhos beat Green Streets to become the first team from Minivan Championship to beat a team from Male' League.

The first goal of the match was scored in the 2nd minute of the game by Angel making it 1 - 0 for Maalhos early in the match. 10 minutes later he extended the lead for Maalhos from a penalty and another 10 minutes later the third goal was scored by Arif (Aree) of Maalhos. Milandhoo had a bit of hope when their captain Moosa Fathuhee scored a goal in the 34th minute. But not so long after, just after 2 minutes from that Angel completed his hat-trick of the match and took all hopes of Milandhoo getting a result from the game. This goal was scored by a free kick. It was Ali Waseem who made it 5 goals for Maalhos in the 52nd minute of the match.

In the first round when these two teams met in the league Maalhos drew the match after leading the match 2 -0. Compared to first round this is a better performance by Maalhos. After the match Maalhos' coach Nisthar said that they won because all the players played as they practiced for the match. Further on he also said that the goal management has for the league is to get 10 points and his target is to achieve that first and will think about other objectives later.

After the match MIlandhoo's coach said they didn't get a good result because his team could not practice well. He was concerned that out of 27 player in his team most can't come to practices due to work.

Tonight New Radiant will play against Green Street and the match will start at 9 pm.
