Maziya SR vs Thinadhoo

Maziyz and Thinadhoo both had disappointing results in the match week #2. While Maziya lost to TC in the all-important match, to lose their hold on second place in the table, Thinadhoo were held to a goalless draw against the bottom side Kudahuvadhoo and can consider two vital point lost. Hence both teams will look to improve their results in this match week. Maziya would welcome back Umair after suspension, which just might be the spark they need to win their match against Thinadhoo. Suzain who faced his former club Maziya in Male’ league would be hoping for an upset as he did with Victory SC few months back.

TC Sports Club vs Kudahuvadhoo

TC Sports Club had a vital win over close rival Maziya to consolidate second place in the league table in match week #2 of second round. Kudahuvadhoo can be happy that they had a small victory by drawing with Thinadhoo who are in fifth place of the table. But Kudahuvadhoo are still rooted to the bottom of the table and have very little to play for other than their pride at this moment in time. We feel it would be a comfortable victory for TC who seems to be peaking at the right time, and might just give New Radiant a fight for the league title.

Milandhoo vs Club Green Streets

Milandhoo had a poor match last time around to lose to Maalhos 5-1, which must have hurt the team and the players. Green Street themselves lost their second match in a row this round to title leaders new Radiant Sports Club. Hence both clubs would come into the match trying to prove a point to their supporters as well as to themselves. It might be a close match with few chances. Given that both teams cannot afford a third consecutive loss we feel it might just end in a deadlock.

New Radiant vs Maalhos

Both teams have been in superb form in the second round and it must be the match to watch in the third match week of the second round. Both teams have been scoring freely and are stronger attacking than defending. Maalhos has surprised a few with their results in the seond round and cannot be taken lightly by any team given the result they showed against Green Streets. Still its hard to believe that New Raidant would throw away any points and might be extra careful and focused to beat the superb Maalhos. We believe it would an open game with a lost of goal scoring opportunities with New Radiant to win eventually.
