New Radiant wins the Presidents Cup. A brace by Ibrahim Fazeel(Oppo) and a goal by Ali Fasir (Sentey) condemned TC to their 3rd 2nd place finish this season.

TC started the game very well winning an early penalty. Experienced defender Akram Abdul Ghani(Aku) fouled in the box, Legendary goalkeeper Imran Mohamed kept New Radiant's hope alive by saving the penalty from the Egyptian defender Ala Nasr. First half was mostly dominated by TC who were unable to break the resilient New Radiant defense line.

Game was slowing down in the second half when Ali Fasir(Sentey) won a penalty for New Radiant. Sentey stepped up scored from the spot for for New Radiant at the 68th minute. TC keeper Kiran Chemjong guessed right but he could not keep our Sentey's penalty. TC continued to push. At 86th minute it took a magical first touch from Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) to release Fasir who crossed for Fazeel to coolly slot home New Radiant's second goal. An individual effort by the man of the match Ibrahim Fazeel sealed TC's fate in the stoppage time.

New Radiant has won their 3rd title this season. Earlier this week New Radiant beat TC to win the FA Cup. New Radiant also won Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League leading TC, who were a distant 2nd place, followed by Maziya and then by Thinadhoo.

Under the guidance of Coach Bruzon Barreras Oscar New Radiant only only missed out on Male' League this season, finishing the league in 3rd place. Maziya who won the Male' League won on superior goal difference, followed by Green Streets and then New Radiant.
