Ahmed Niyaz(Niyatte) has started work as Thinadhoo's under 21 head coach. Niyatte, the former Maldives International, has already coached teams in the second and third divisions.

Thinadhoo will compete with Eagles, Maziya and United Victory for this years youth Championship. Niyatte is out to stop former team-mate Ahmed Shakir(Shakitte) of Club Eagles from winning the championship for three consecutive tournaments.

Niyatte played for Thinadhoo in this seasons Premier League. Thinadhoo finished in creditable fourth place and took part in the Presidents Cup.

Former New Radiant player moved to Thinadhoo from Victory, after Victory failed to qualify to the Premier League.
