Mohamed Irufan(Irey) has extended his contract with Maziya Sports.

Former under 23 National player Irey puts an end to the speculation of a switch to TC by extending contract with Maziya. Irey was under 23 national captain under coach Velizar Popov, whose assistant Ismail Mahfooz is now the coach of Maziya. Maziya strengthening the squad after losing Umair to New Radiant, are also said to be in contact with the likes of Ahmed Aarif of Maalhos. Maziya has already signed Hassan Naiz(Dhaadhu) from TC. With the likes of Samooh, Samdhuh, Ismail Easa (Messi), Ahmed Imaz(Aakko) and Yashfard Habeeb already under contract Maziya looks a strong unit.

Maziya will miss out on AFC Cup slot after two consecutive seasons, will compete to win back an AFC Cup place for next season.

Their Under 21 team will play against United Victory in tomorrows under 21 clash.
