Ahmed Arif (Aari) signs for TC Sports.

Maalhos’ star man Ahmed Arif has opted to join TC Sports amid interest from several clubs such as Club Valencia, Maziya and Eagles. According to the player, the reason he chose TC Sports is his wish to play for Coach Mohamed Nizam and the chance to play in the AFC Cup play-off.

Aari is famous for the goal he scored against New Radiant, when he beat few defenders before easily beating legendary goalkeeper Imran and coolly slotting home. Aari played in the last few games of Maalhos’ Premier League campaign scoring three goals and  three assists. He missed most of the league due to injury.

TC Sports who have lost Hassan Naiz (Dhaadhu) to Maziya has already signed Ishan (Sattu) from Milandhoo. TC sports will be competing in the AFC Cup preliminary rounds later this month.

This will no doubt be a huge setback for Maalhos, who are also on the verge of losing their goal keeper Ibrahim Zameer.
