Club Valencia held Thimpu City FC tonight. The game ended scoreless in the AFC Cup Preliminary round of South Asian Zone 1 game.

Valencia's Maldives International goalkeeper Faisal was awarded the man of the match. Both teams had chances but the game ended goalless in a cold evening. Played at 6°c was very harsh for the Maldives FA Cup winners.

The second leg will be played in Male on the 7th of February.
