Maldives national team forward and captain of Maziya Sports & RC, Asadulla Abdulla (Asako) has extended his contract with the club.

Asako is an important player for the green boys who has been with the club for several years. He is the current caption of the team who has been taking his responsibility very well.

Asako is a well-known striker in club level and international level. He is mostly known as a box player who has the talent to score goals at any given opportunity. He is currently the top scorer of Maziya who has won Male league, DPL, Presidents Cup and Charity Shield with the green boys.

Asako missed most of the matches of DPL last year due to an injury he faced earlier in DPL. Maziya faced the blow of playing without him in the DPL and finished in third position of the table. He has joined Maziya’s practice today and is hoping to get back to his form before the start of this season to the responsibility of leading the team once again.
