UNITED VICTORY GRABS IMPORTANT 3 POINTS FROM VALENCIA

United Victory beats Club Valencia by 3-0, grabbing them important 3 points on the first match day.

Both the teams started the match giving pressure for the opponent. First half of the match ended goal less, as both teams were denying each other on the chances they were creating.

Valencia started the second half pressurizing the UV defence and created good chances in the opening ten minutes. Shots by Valencia striker Dryga Sergil, were blocked by the defence and a free kick by Valencia from the middle of UV’s half was stopped by Tholaal Hassan (Toplak) in the opening minutes. After the introduction of UV’s captain, Hussain Simaz (Koky), UV broke the deadlock on the hour mark. UV’s striker, Samuel Kordell Devone calmly netted his first goal of the season after Abdul Wahid Ibrahim (Waadu) passed the ball to him in the box.

United Victory started to dominate the game after the goal and created a few chances in the following minutes. Samuel scored his second goal from a free kick on the 73rd minute. UV’s 3rd goal was scored by Ali Haisham (Chumpu) on the 80th minute, after a beautiful cross from Koky.

Valencia did not give up even after the third goal and were pushing forward with the thirst of scoring a goal. Valencia was awarded a penalty but Toplak stood sharp at the goal and saved the penalty. UV had the opportunity to increase the lead at the last minute but Ibrahim Nooradhdheen (Andy) was unable to net the cross by Samuel.  UV emerged victorious with the help of Samuel’s brace as he was named the player of the match.
