Maldives Soccer Mates team arrives in Penang to take part in the 19th Penang Sports Club International Soccer 7’s Tournament.

Maldives Soccer Mates is expected to do well in this annual tournament. Lagends of Maldivian football, Moosa Manik (Kuda Moosa), Ismail Asif (Kuda Heena) and others are expected to play in this years competition.

Last year Soccer Mates made it to the semi-finals of this international tournament. Besides Maldives, teams from hosts Malaysia, Australia, Brunei Darul Salam, China, Europe, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam are expected to participate. The tournament is a two day tournament.
