JJ Sports Club has completed the signing of former Valencia midfielder, Ibrahim Shiyam (John) to strengthen the team for the Second Division tournament.

John is the younger brother of former national team and Valencia striker, Thohdoo Nizam. John has played for Club Valencia last season as they competed in the AFC Cup and Male League. Unfortunately, John’s campaign ended last year, as Valencia was unable to reach the top four and promote the team to the premier league. John has made his name as a hardworking midfielder at Maziya, BG Sports and Valencia, for the years he played with each of the club. He has joined JJ to help them achieve their target of promoting the club to first division with his experience as a midfielder.

JJ Sports Club has been preparing very well for this year’s tournament as they were named semi-finalists last year. They have signed very good players including, Mohamed Muslih (Mutti), Ismail Aaiz and Ibrahim Junah, all with good experience at the top level. With the addition of John, JJ’s firepower will increase as they will be an even tougher team to beat.
