Nilandhoo has been crowned as champions of Faafu atoll after a narrow win against Magoodhoo.

Only Nilandhoo and Magoodhoo participated in the Minivan Championship this year and as a result, a home and away match were played to decide the champions of Faafu atoll. The first match was played at Magoodhoo where Nilandhoo won the match by 1-0. With an away goal at hand, Nilandhoo grabbed a narrow win at home by 2-1, coming from behind to be crowned as champions of Faafu atoll.

Nilandhoo takes a step forward as they now have to battle against V.Fulidhoo in the zone round. Fulidhoo had already advanced to the zone round since they are the only one to participate in the Minivan Championship from Vaavu atoll this year.
