MAJEEDHIYYA INTO UNDER 14 FINAL!

Today evening in the ongoing Milo Inter School Football Tournament 2018’s under 14 age category, Majeedhiya School has got into the final.

The frist semifinal match between, today evening, Hiriyaa School faced Majeedhiyya School in the tournament venue, Henveiru Ground.

An early goal by Majeedhiyya School, J.No #7, Ahmed Maish Rasheed took the lead for the junior reds I just 3 minutes in the gamer times. Both teams tried to change the score line during rest of the first half, but it ended as 0-1 lead to Majeedhiyya when the game went to interval.

During the second half of the match, both sides used fresh players from the bench to improve both sides game, somehow Hiriya was unable to level the game and Majeedhiyya kept their single goal lead till the end of the match.

As Hiriyaa said goodbye to the tournament after today’s semifinal defeat, they have scored 16 goals in total. Hiriyaa is led by former national team and a player who has huge experience of the top flight football, Mr.Ahmed Niyaz.

On the other hand, Majeedhiya is the best team when it comes to scoring goals. Majeedhiyya under 14 boys has scored total 23 goals (21 in group stage, 1 in both quarter and semi). And Majeedhiyya junior reds also are the one of the best side, team conceded least, along with quarterfinalist Ghiyaasuddin International School. Majeedhiyya conceded only a single time. Majeedhiyya junior reds is led by coach Ahmed Mamdhooh (Fernando). Majeedhiyya lifted under 16 title under coach Fernando last year.

As Majeedhiyya School will be playing on one side of the under 14 final, the next side will be decided on the semifinal match between Kalafaanu School and Iskandharu School.

Under 14 age category final match will take place on 24th March between the winners of two semifinals.

Current champion of the age group is Ahmadhiyya International School. Runner-up is Iskandharu School.
