Maziya Sports and Recreation have moved to the top of STO Male' league with a 4-0 win against United Victory. The Green boys move to top spot in the league with 10 points from five games. New Radiant who played a game less have the same number of points but Maziya have a better goal difference.

The first goal of the game came in the 16th minute from Ismail Esa who fired home from Naiz Hassan low cross to draw first blood in the game.

Maziya's second goal came in the 69th minute. Defender Milos Kovacevic fired home into the top corner of the net from a free-kick.

Striker Cornelius Stewart made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute after Ismail Esa opened up the UV defense and four minutes later Naaiz was on the end of Esa pass to make it 4-0 in what was a resounding success for Maziya.

Speaking after the Maziya boss Mahfooz said that he was pleased with his sides performance. He added that he was delighted by the attacking combination of his players.

UV gaffer Nazeeh was extremely dissapointed by his sides show and criticized his players for not giving any effort and added that he will drastically change this before it becomes a habit to lose games.
