Maldives has been drawn to the same group with India and Sri Lanka for the upcoming SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018.

The draw for the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018 was held today at the capital of Bangladesh, Daka. Group A consists of Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Bhutan while Maldives, India and Sri Lanka have been drawn to Group B. 2013 SAFF champions, Afghanistan did not participate this year because they have been changed from South Asian region to Central Asian region.

Maldives National Team will play its first match of the tournament on 5^th September against Sri Lanka. Second match will be played against India on 7^th September.

The tournament is scheduled to kick-off on 4^th September while the final is scheduled to be played on 14^th September.
