Maziya beat Eagles by two goal to nil in tonight's match to move to second spot in STO Male’ league. Green Boys now have 13 points, along with New Radiant SC and TC sports Club. But Maziya finishes first round of the league in second place due to goal difference. Club Eagles who started this weeks match day in second place finishes the first round in fifth place of the league with 11 points from 7 games played.

The first goal of the game was scored by Cornelius Ezekiel Stewart (jersey no. 39) of Maziya in the 4th minute of the match. Eagles tried to eqaulize the early goal by Maziya but was unable to score from the multiple goal scoring opportunities they created in the match. Maziya held on to the lead and scored a second goal in the injury time by Cornelius Stewart.

With tonight’s result Eagles lost the chance to go top of the league standings with a win, while the result ensures Maziya finishes the first round of the league in 2nd place.

As the first round of Male’ league draws to a close New Radiant still have a game in hand against bottom club Valencia.
